Producing Visual Images

Why would you produce visual images?

How do you produce visual images?

Pencil, pen, photograph, others?

Printing means putting an image on a substrate, whether it's ink or toner on paper, fabric, glass, or plastic.

All Printing Requires Planning

The Design must be thought out completely. You must know how the piece will be finished in order to know what direction to take to reach that goal.

Specifications with regard to measurements and size must be determined.

Costs for producing the piece can dictate the final design and production method.

The means of assembly for final delivery must be determined.

An assessment of the practice use and appearance of the finished piece by the end user must be examined.

We will be learning how to create artwork with an eye on the process to be used in its creation.
